Role Overview:

UniWise is seeking a Node.js / TypeScript Developer to help build and maintain the backend of our AI-driven platform. You will be responsible for developing API routes, integrating with external systems like EMRs, and ensuring that our platform scales efficiently to meet the needs of our healthcare clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain API routes using Express.js.
• Write and maintain backend documentation with Swagger.
• Integrate and manage patient data queries and EMR connections.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration of services.
• Optimize backend performance and scalability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and Express.js.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development.
• Experience with backend documentation tools like Swagger.
• Familiarity with integrating third-party services and APIs.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize backend systems.
• Experience working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment, especially with engineers and product teams.
